Cheers Jared for the heads-up with this film. It’s coming out later in 2010.

It’s called “Greenberg” and it stars Ben Stiller as a middle-aged loser. Looks painful.

It is written and directed by Noah Baumbach, who is Wes Anderson’s writing partner. However, he has also made a few films off his own bat – “The Squid and the Whale” is excellent (one of the best films of 2005), while “Margot at the Wedding” was not so good.

This one could be brilliant….or not. One huge thing going for it – James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem is doing the soundtrack. Cool. His classic track “All My Friends” from 2007 is that special sound augmenting this preview. Oh Yeah.

Looking forward to 2010. Hope it is a good year in all things pop culture.
